You've Found The Right Place
If you've been dealing with pain for months — or years — and still don't have a clear answer, you're not alone. Many patients who find Dr. Bray have already been through the cycle: a few adjustments here, some physical therapy there, maybe a specialist who ordered imaging and sent them on their way. They were told their pain was manageable, or that nothing was structurally wrong, or simply that this was just something they'd have to live with.

That's not good enough. Pain that keeps coming back — or never fully goes away — usually has a reason. It may be that no one has taken the time to look at the full picture, connect the right dots, or address what's actually driving your symptoms. That's exactly what Dr. Bray does.
At Bray Chiropractic & Wellness, you work directly with the doctor from day one. Every visit. No front desk handoffs, no techs, no feeling like a number. Dr. Bray combines chiropractic care, hands-on soft tissue work, rehabilitation, and clinical reasoning into a single, thorough approach — because most pain problems don't fit neatly into one box, and your care shouldn't either.

What you can expect at Bray Chiropractic & Wellness:

✔ One-on-one care with Dr. Bray at every single visit
✔ Chiropractic and massage therapy performed by the same provider
✔ Thorough assessment before any treatment — no guessing
✔ Evidence-based care, explained in plain language
✔ Pelvic floor and lumbopelvic specialty care for both men and women
✔ In-network with Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Cigna, and CT Medicaid

Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
Pelvic pain, urinary urgency, tailbone pain, painful intercourse, postpartum core dysfunction, and pelvic floor issues in both men and women.
Low Back, Hip & SI Joint Pain
Mechanical low back pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, hip impingement, and groin pain — including cases with underlying pelvic floor involvement.
Sciatica & Nerve Pain
Lumbar radiculopathy, sciatic pain, and peripheral nerve entrapments of the lower extremity.
Neck Pain & Headaches
Mechanical neck pain, tension headaches, and cervicogenic headaches that originate from the neck and upper spine.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Care
Pelvic girdle pain during pregnancy, postpartum core and pelvic rehabilitation, and diastasis recti.

Chronic & Complex Pain
Persistent pain that hasn't resolved with prior care, central sensitization, and conditions where no one has connected the full clinical picture yet.

TMJ & Jaw Pain
Muscle-related TMJ dysfunction, including treatment with intra-oral massage therapy — one of the few providers in the area trained in this technique.
Meet Dr. David Bray
Glastonbury Chiropractor, MS, LMT, ACSM-EP
Dr. Bray didn't take a straight road to chiropractic — and that's exactly what makes him different.

Before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Bray spent nearly a decade building a clinical foundation that most providers never develop. He started as a licensed massage therapist with a focus on orthopedic and soft tissue work, went on to earn a degree in exercise science and certification as an ACSM Exercise Physiologist, and completed advanced training in functional medicine and clinical nutrition — all while running a full-time practice.
That background shapes everything about how he approaches patient care. Rather than treating a symptom in isolation, Dr. Bray looks at how the whole system is working — and more importantly, why it isn't. He describes it like solving a puzzle: finding the pattern that explains why the pain keeps coming back, or why nothing else has worked.
His specialty in pelvic floor care grew out of a gap he saw — and eventually experienced himself. After noticing how consistently undertreated pelvic health was across multiple clinical programs, he developed pelvic floor dysfunction during chiropractic school and spent nearly two years navigating a fragmented healthcare system before resolving it with his own clinical approach. That experience drives his commitment to thorough, individualized care for every patient who walks through the door.

What Makes This Different
There's no shortage of chiropractic options in the Glastonbury area. So why do patients keep finding their way to Dr. Bray — often after trying somewhere else first?

The short answer is that this practice is built differently.

You work directly with the doctor. Every time. At Bray Chiropractic & Wellness, there is no front desk staff routing you to a tech, no rotating providers, and no wondering who you'll see when you walk in. Dr. Bray handles everything — your intake, your assessment, your treatment, and your ongoing care plan. When you call or text, you're reaching him directly. That level of access is rare, and it makes a real difference in the quality and continuity of your care.
Chiropractic and massage therapy.
Same provider. Same visit. Dr. Bray is both a licensed chiropractor and a licensed massage therapist — and he uses both in practice. That means soft tissue work and joint-based care aren't two separate appointments with two separate people. They're integrated into a single, more complete visit. Most practices that offer massage have a separate LMT on staff. Here, it's all Dr. Bray.

Thorough by design.
Not by accident. Appointments at this practice run longer than what most patients are used to — because the work is more complete. Dr. Bray takes the time to understand your full history, identify what's actually driving your symptoms, and explain what he's finding in plain language. If you've ever left a provider's office with more questions than answers, this will feel different.

A specialty most providers won't touch. Pelvic floor care remains one of the most underserved areas in musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Bray is one of the few providers in Connecticut — of any discipline — offering evidence-based pelvic floor rehabilitation for both men and women. No referral required.
Ready to Finally Get Some Answers?
If you've been managing pain, chasing diagnoses, or told there's nothing more that can be done — this is worth one more try. Dr. Bray's approach is different by design: thorough, individualized, and focused on finding what others have missed.

Whether you're dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic low back pain, or something that doesn't fit neatly into a category, there's usually a pattern. And once you find it, you can actually do something about it.

"Dr. Bray Has Been Incredible"
I’ve struggled with low back and neck pain for years, and this is the first time I’ve finally decided to seek some help. Dr. Bray has been incredible — he listens, validates what I’m feeling, and never makes me feel rushed. I always leave my appointments feeling understood and supported.
What I appreciate most is how he takes the time to explain the muscles and mechanics behind my pain. He helps me understand WHY something hurts and reassures me that what I’m experiencing makes sense. The education alone has made such a difference in how I manage my symptoms!
I feel genuinely comfortable in his care, and I’m so grateful to be making progress after so many years of convincing myself that this pain was normal.
If you’re looking for someone patient, knowledgeable, and truly attentive, I can’t recommend him enough!!

"Dr. Bray is an Amazing Doctor"
I was looking for a pelvic floor therapist, did a search on Google and learned about Dr. Bray in Glastonbury. I booked an appointment with him.
I had MANY other things going on besides a tight pelvic floor - lots of neck and back pain. At my first appointment I felt very comfortable with Dr. Bray.
He is very down to earth, kind and showed compassion. He communicated very well and explained things clearly. He asked me a lot of questions and was VERY thorough. I felt like he genuinely cared about me and I didn’t feel like I was just another number in a doctor’s office.
He treated me according to my symptoms and every time I left his office I felt much better. My second visit was for a therapeutic massage (he does massage therapy too). One of the BEST massages I ever had!! He knew exactly where my problem areas were and worked them out so well!
Dr. Bray is an amazing doctor and I’m so glad I found him! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Do You Accept My Insurance?
Most likely, yes. Bray Chiropractic & Wellness is in-network with the following insurance plans:
-
Aetna
-
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
-
Cigna (ASH)
-
CT Medicaid (Husky)
If you don't see your plan listed, reach out before your first visit and Dr. Bray will help verify your benefits directly. No front desk runaround — just a straight answer.
Not sure if your plan covers chiropractic or pelvic floor care? That's a common question, and the honest answer is that coverage varies by plan and by the services provided. The best way to find out is to contact your insurance provider directly or reach out to us — we're happy to help you figure it out before you commit to anything.
No insurance? No problem. Self-pay options are available. If cost is a concern, just ask — Dr. Bray would rather have that conversation upfront than have insurance be the reason someone doesn't get the care they need.

Finding The Best Chiropractor
Everyone is looking for the best chiropractor, and rightfully so. It would be crazy to want the second-best chiropractor and even more crazy to want the worst chiropractor. But if you've spent any time searching for a chiropractor in Glastonbury or the surrounding Hartford County area, you already know the options aren't hard to find. Knowing which one is actually right for you — that's the harder part.

Here's the honest truth: the best chiropractor for one person is often not the best chiropractor for someone else. Someone dealing with a straightforward muscle strain after a weekend project needs something completely different than a person who's been in pelvic pain for two years, seen four providers, and still doesn't have a clear answer. Both deserve excellent care. But they don't need the same thing.
