"I’ve been seeing Dr. Bray for over 10 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist and now as a Chiropractor. I am also a massage therapist so I am very picky when it comes to massage, but I believe his massages are the best I’ve come by.
Our goals have always shifted throughout the years and now as a mom of 3, I have lots of tension in my shoulders, neck, glutes, and pelvic floor. "I herniated discs at levels L4/L5 and L5/S1. They were significant herniations which impinged on my sciatic nerve to the point of nearly crushing it. I had a laminectomy and discectomy done. A few months later, I reherniated them again. With the sciatica pain returning, I was desperate for a solution. The next step was a multilevel fusion.
Surgery was scheduled but I had to wait 10 weeks. That demolished me. I begged for chiropractic care, for at least some relief in the meantime. This is when I started going to Dr. David Bray and everything changed.
Although I was there for known disc related issues, he did a very thorough assessment. What he found was my left hip was higher and rotated forward. He proceeded to do work to correct that, as well as work on my back. He taught me about body mechanics with my given situation, helped me learn to strengthen and stretch what/how I needed to, how to effectively listen to my body, realigned my hips completely, and saved me from a life changing surgery for a problem that wasnt even the cause of my pain.
I may still need that surgery one day, but not when I'm too young for it, not right now. He fixed my sciatica, my hips, my mental health, and livelihood. He was such a pleasant, light hearted, funny chiropractor who was easy to work with and made me feel great about going. His knowledge spans so much farther than chiropractic care alone and he was happy to share it.
I will never go elsewhere, and I've been to a few. He doesn't just do his job or make progress look good for numbers and reports, or rush you out the door. He is invested right alongside you; your journey is his. If you're researching chiropractors and reading this, you have found yours."
